COFFEE SHOP APP
PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Product
Coffee Shop App is a mobile application designed to streamline the coffee ordering experience while building a community of coffee enthusiasts. The app combines efficient ordering capabilities with educational content about coffee, creating a unique platform for both casual drinkers and connoisseurs.
The Problem
In today's fast-paced world, getting your daily coffee fix comes with several challenges. Long queues during peak hours, inconsistent orders, and the inability to customize drinks exactly to your liking are common frustrations. Prototype

Takeaway
The coffee shop app prototype revealed several crucial insights about effective mobile ordering design. The streamlined three-step ordering process (select, customize, checkout) proved to be the most intuitive approach for users, while maintaining quick reorder functionality for returning customers. The use of a warm, coffee-inspired color palette (#D4A373, #FEFAE0) not only reinforced brand identity but also provided clear visual hierarchy for important actions. Interactive elements like the customization flow demonstrated that breaking down complex drink modifications into simple, visual steps helps reduce ordering errors. The bottom navigation pattern with key features (menu, orders, rewards, profile) accessible within one tap optimized the app's usability, while the persistent cart indicator kept users informed of their order status throughout their journey.
